张靓影在PK何洁的时候清唱了它，她说这是她喜欢时间最长的一首歌曲。我没她那么执着，不过这是我最喜欢的一首 Mariah Carey 的歌曲。 Mariah Carey 也是我个人认为拥有好歌最多的歌手，从 90 年开始听她在 MTV 电视台翻唱 Michael Jackson 五兄弟演唱组的 I'll be there 开始，我就深深喜欢上了这个女歌手，她的嗓音简直是无与伦比。最喜欢她的专辑《Music Box》（八音盒），里面有多首我非常喜欢的作品，但是其中这首 Hero 是我个人最喜欢的。光听这首歌曲你很难立刻被它感动，记得多年前，有一次我在公司住宿楼和一帮同事站着观看 Mariah Carey 在现场演唱会上表演这首歌的时候，旁边一个中年同事对我说“这首歌曲的思想性很好”，差点让我笑出声来。不过这首歌曲的打击面如此之大，可见一斑。有人说这首歌曲很俗气，矫情，我不是太认同，其实每个人心中都有一个英雄的存在，只是名字不一样，你可以称之为“勇气”，“动力”。作为一首立志的作品，歌词激励人们用内心的勇气战胜恐惧，虽然它不是那种旋律非常优美的歌曲，但是它确是非常耐听的，而且有了 Mariah Carey 的激情演唱才使之成为一首经典佳作。非常喜欢上个世纪的 Mariah Carey，那时的她还没有现在那么俗气，她还是个激情四溢的歌手，也没把自己打扮的跟个“肉肠”一样。

这首歌曲不太适合清唱，所以张靓影还是没能唱好这首她最喜欢的作品。她的唱功无疑是超女中最好的，但是不恰当的选歌多少影响她的发挥。我个人觉得她的嗓音和 Mariah Carey 相似，但是她属于外冷内热型的，在演绎偶像的歌曲时，总是缺少 Mariah Carey 的激情，所以只能到“形似”而无法到“神似”。
